Mayisela is a 2D animated short documentary tracing the life of Simphiwe Mayisela, a South African whistleblower whose courage and sacrifice exposed corruption at the highest levels. Based on the graphic novel, the film uses hand-drawn animation and a neonoir jazz score to bring an intimate portrait of resistance and consequence to life.
